Program structure
The program strictly adheres to the curriculum, teaching methods, and examination regulations of the German partner university.
Program duration: 4 years (180 credits), including 1 foundation year (no credits) and 6 specialization semesters (180 credits).
Year 1: The program begins with learning basic engineering concepts, technical English, and German in the first semester, followed by basic courses in mathematics and physics in the second semester.
Year 2: The third semester introduces applied technical skills and basic programming, while the fourth semester focuses on advancing knowledge in electronics, digital system design, and control engineering, along with advanced programming and German language.
Years 3 & 4: Students choose their specialization, participate in internships, and complete their graduation thesis.
Semester abroad: Final year students will have the opportunity to study and complete their graduation thesis in Germany with a DAAD scholarship or at their own expense.
Entry requirements
1. Academic requirements: Depend on the admission method
2. English requirements:
Must meet one of the following conditions:
• International certificate: Academic IELTS ≥5.0 (valid at the time of application) or equivalent (see Appendix 1 of VGU's admission regulations).
• VGU English test: Pass the test including 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing.
• Average English score: Three years of high school with an average score of ≥7.5/10 (applies to Methods 2 & 5).
Cases exempt from English requirements:
• Applicants from countries where English is the official language (see Appendix 2).
• Applicants who graduated from an international high school program taught and assessed entirely in English (a confirmation letter from the school is required).

Overview
The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) program at VGU, in cooperation with Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences in Germany, offers an international study opportunity.
The program includes four main specializations: Automation-Control Engineering Technology (AT), Energy and Electrical Engineering Technology (ET), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Microelectronic Systems Engineering (MSE).
Students will gain specialized skills and practical experience in modern laboratories. They will have the capability to develop circuits, systems, and products for electrical engineering and information technology.
Besides technical competence, the program also teaches interdisciplinary and soft skills, enabling students to carry out complex professional projects and take on professional development responsibilities for themselves and their teams.
