Program structure

The program strictly adheres to the curriculum, teaching methods, and examination regulations of the German partner university.


Program duration: 4 years (180 credits), including 1 foundation year (no credits) and 6 specialization semesters (180 credits). New subjects for the specialization years starting from 2024: IoT and Smart Devices, Introduction to Data Science & AI, and Elective 2.


Bachelor of Computer Science with fields in: Software Engineering, IoT/Mobile Applications, Data Science, AI/Machine Learning, IT Security.


Foundation year: English courses and basic industry subjects. Students will learn basic programming courses such as C and C++, essential mathematics, and some overview courses in computer science.


Year 2: The program focuses on core computer science subjects such as Databases, Software Engineering, and Computer Networks, along with more advanced programming courses like Java.


Years 3 & 4: Students will explore new and specialized topics in computer science, and participate in practical subjects such as Projects, Internships, and the Graduation Thesis to apply their learned knowledge in practice and explore the working environment in the industry.


Semester abroad: Final year students will have the opportunity to study and complete their graduation thesis in Germany with a DAAD scholarship or at their own expense.

2. English requirements:

Must meet one of the following conditions:

• International certificate: Academic IELTS ≥5.0 (valid at the time of application) or equivalent (see Appendix 1 of VGU's admission regulations).

• VGU English test: Pass the test including 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing.

• Average English score: Three years of high school with an average score of ≥7.5/10 (applies to Methods 2 & 5).

Cases exempt from English requirements:

• Applicants from countries where English is the official language (see Appendix 2).

• Applicants who graduated from an international high school program taught and assessed entirely in English (a confirmation letter from the school is required).

Tuition

Tuition fees apply to students entering 2025

The tuition fee per semester remains the same throughout the entire standard training period prescribed for a course.

Tuition will be paid on a semester basis.

The bachelor's program consists of 08 semesters in 04 years.

  • Tuition fee for CSE Vietnam students (VND): 42,600,000/semester
  • Tuition fee for international CSE students (VND): 63,900,000/semester
