Overview

The Process and Environmental Engineering (EPE) program at VGU, in cooperation with Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany, offers international standard learning opportunities.

Sustainable development is the direction that countries around the world are aiming for. Sustainable development symbolizes a technological approach that can meet the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability to meet the needs of future generations.

Process Engineering offers new opportunities for sustainable development through the invention, research, and development of more efficient, environmentally friendly processes using renewable raw materials and renewable energy. Process Engineering focuses on the transformation of materials and energy to create energy (heat, electricity), chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, materials, and other products sustainably.

The international program in Process and Environmental Engineering specifically provides you with the skills and knowledge to design, operate, control, and optimize industrial processes and products in an energy and material-saving manner, reducing waste and minimizing negative environmental impacts.
